Resources

There is a wealth of information available online for learning to be successful in the markets. Here is a list of some the most impactful resources I have learned from in crafting my own identity in trading and investing in financial assets.

1) Wishing Wealth-wishingwealthblog.com/
Dr. Wish uses a General Market Index to diagnose the current state of the markets, from which, I modeled my Point of Sail Index. He views markets with a slightly slower time frame than I do.

2) Dark Liquidity- dark-liquidity.com/
Useful website for tracking a wide variety of quantitative trading methods.

3) The Keystone Speculator-
Informative quantitative trading algorithm and economic analysis. I learned much from this blog although it does have a notably contrarian bias.

4) Ciovacco Capital Management- www.ciovaccocapital.com/
Utilizes technical analysis for managing an investment firm

5) StockCharts.com- stockcharts.com/
Source for all my charting needs and home of most of my analytical tools

6) Motif Investing- www.motifinvesting.com/
Theme based investing and portfolio management. Cheap trading of bulk orders of stocks and ETFs.

7) Alexander Elder- http://www.elder.com/ Professional trader with many great things to say about technical investing. My favorite book is Entries & Exits

8) Doug Short- Publishes some excellent technical analysis on a weekly basis. http://www.advisorperspectives.com/dshort/updates/index.php

9) The Fat Pitch- Blog with high quality content and analysis of current market conditions http://fat-pitch.blogspot.com/

10) NorthmanTrader- Trader with big presence on Twitter and excellent analysis http://northmantrader.com/technical-charts/

11) Finviz.com- Excellent source of free data analysis and scanning tools.

12) Investopedia- Best place to start learning those terms!
